Iowa law requires students to have certain immunizations, vision, and dental screenings before starting school in the fall. Students will not be able to attend school in the fall without proof of the required immunizations and screenings, or a certificate of exemption.

3. Apply for bus transportation
Elementary and middle school students who live over two miles and high school students living over three miles from their assigned boundary school are eligible for bus transportation. Families may also request paid busing if space is available on an existing route.

7. Attend back to school night on August 19
Preschool through 8th grade back-to-school night will be from 5-7 pm at their school building. Back to school night for 9th through 12th grades will be from 6-8 pm at their school building.
